Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When a visitor sends a message, we receive the information in that message and use it only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may create standard logs containing an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate patterns to maintain the service and understand which records pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Limited Data Is Used
The limited data described here supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and we do not create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Websites
Links may lead to Middlesex County or New Jersey portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The privacy rules of those destinations control what a visitor submits there. That includes sponsored results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process server logs for the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it and not for other reasons.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no accounts, the service does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor may have sent information, and it will be removed.
Your Information Choices
Depending on the law where a visitor lives, they may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Since this service keeps very little, such requests are usually limited to the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. New Jersey public records held by a city, county, or state custodian are outside our control. The New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., provides the relevant public-record request framework; a correction or removal request for an official record goes to its custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will be posted here. Continued use after posting means the revised policy applies.
